Lower limb assessment and Orthotics
Whether you are a sports enthusiast or whether you have pain walking, Contented Soles can assess, 3D scan and improve your comfort and efficiency in movement and help reduce risk of injury.
Just some of the custom insoles, sandals and flip-flops we can make for you.
What is a Bio-mechanical assessment?
Poor foot function in movement can cause compensatory stresses and injury to connecting muscles, tendons and joints in the foot, lower limb, hips and back.
Poor foot function can cause pain not only in the feet, but also in the knees, hips and lower back.
A Biomechanical and gait analysis determines any abnormalities and identifies how your body compensates. Foot manipulation techniques will will also be performed to âfree upâ any structures of the lower limb that are restricted where possible.
Orthotics/insoles can help improve comfort and efficiency in movement whilst minimising pain.
Contented soles, in association with Foothealth UK ltd, have an Orthotics micro laboratory, where we 3D print orthotics to suit the individual client.Â
The orthotics would be combined with a rehabilitation treatment plan to stretch and strengthen muscles and tendons of the lower limb.
Following your orthotics fitting, you will be reviewed to ensure you are satisfied with the results.
Contented soles can also provide bespoke sandals and flip flops in most colour variations.

your feet are in safe hands.
In our lifetime our feet will walk an average of 70,000 miles. This is the equivalent to walking 4 times around the world!
In this time, we will experience the âbreaking inâ of new shoes, blisters, corns, infections as well as generalised foot and ankle pain.
Contented Soles are trained to evaluate, diagnose and manage all conditions relating to the lower limb.
